THE ROLEThe Gym Front Desk Attendant plays an important role for Personnel Support Programs. They are essential in maintaining operational facilities, and providing friendly and welcoming membership services to our military members and their families.
Our services are tailored to help our military members and their families face some of the challenges that come with military life, and help them make the most of everyday activities such as going to the gym or pool. We believe that when members of the Canadian Armed Forces are able to take good care of themselves and their families, they can do better both at home and at work. Whether families need to sign their kids up for recreational programs, improve their own fitness, or make friends in a new community, our services are here to help.
As a Gym Front Desk Attendant each day will be different as you manage access to the facility, answer customer inquiries and provide services such as membership sales, while maintaining a cash float and providing daily reports. You will register our customers into recreation programs, work to control the use of sports and recreation equipment, perform minor maintenance when required, and help ensure the cleanliness of the equipment and facility.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some years of experience in a related field
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
AND
Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification
Experience
In general office administration

Naden Gym Operational hours: Monday to Thursday 5:30 am to 9:30 pm, Friday 5:30 am to 7 pm, Saturday and Sunday 8am to 6pm.
Scheduled shift will be a variety of Opening (5:15 am - 1 pm), Evening (5:30 pm - 7:15/6:15 or 9:45 pm) and Closing (2:45 pm - 7:15/6:15 or 9:45 pm). Shift hours can be subject to change.
