THE ROLEIn this role, you are responsible for supporting the Canadian Armed Forces Charitable Funds (Support Our Troops and Soldier On) Fundraising Team with the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors. Your day often begins with reviewing the team’s current objectives and collaborating closely with colleagues, internal stakeholders, and donors to reach shared goals.
You craft compelling storytelling pieces to express the impact of donations on the CAF Community to our donors including but not limited to impact reports, thank you letters, and social media posts. You regularly collaborate with program managers across Support Our Troops and Soldier On to communicate program demographics and the personal impact that these programs have on CAF members, Veterans, and their families to the CAF CF donor community. You also assist with outreach and engagement events like third party fundraisers, stewardship events, CAF Appreciation Nights, and our Signature Events.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
A demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience. This includes but is not limited to demonstrated military education, training or experience

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
As part of the selection process, the successful candidate must successfully complete a Reliability status security screening.
