THE ROLEAs Front Desk Attendant Sports Center, you will greet visitors, establish nature of business and direct visitors to appropriate area or person. You will ensure access to the facility, equipment and services is by authorized clients only. You will provide clients with information regarding the facility, services and activities. You will open and close the facility in accordance with security regulations. You will collect admission and registration fees for classes, activities and clubs, and issue receipts. You will operate the cash register, prepare deposit at the end of shift. You will also maintain a petty cash fund and prepare and maintain registration lists.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some years experience in a related field
OR
An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered
AND
Current CPR and basic First Aid qualifications
Experience
In cash handling
In operating a cash register
In using software for word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, databases, e-mail, and Internet browsing
Competencies
Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
Schedule: day, evening and week-end
Part time position between 13,50 hrs and 31.50 hrs per week
PSP: Keep our Canadian Armed Forces operationally ready and their families and military community healthy as part of the team at Personnel Support Programs. Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
