THE ROLEThe Food Services Attendant performs housekeeping, food and beverage preparation/service and waitress/waiter duties as assigned by supervisor. They perform dish room duties; cleans, sterilizes and polishes cutlery, dishes, pots, pans and cooking equipment. They transport foodstuffs, cleaning materials, equipment, furniture, and carries clean/dirty dishes, cutlery, glasswares to appropriate areas.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
High school diploma AND some years of experience in food and beverage service
OR
An acceptable combination for education, training and experience will also be considered.

OTHER INFORMATIONThis is an on-site position with an assigned work location.
This is a casual position working no more than (13 1/3 or 12 ½) hours per week. Casual employees are hired on a temporary basis for a fixed period of time not exceeding twelve months. A new contract can be issued without a break in service.

Personnel Support Programs contributes to the operational readiness of our Canadian Armed Forces through the provision of fitness, sports, recreation and health promotion programs to military communities across Canada and members while on deployment.
Offer expertise in management, operational and hospitality services as part of the team that oversees military messes throughout Canada and the world. The military mess is the centre of social life for serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces, where customs, responsibilities and social standards are practiced. Messes are steeped in rich military heritage and tradition. The mess includes food as a central component of events and camaraderie. Personnel Support Program (PSP) Hospitality Services and management are pinnacle to their success.
