THE ROLEThe incumbent writes and revises feature articles, editorials, website texts, presentations, brochures and publications, information materials and other means of communication. Conducts research and interviews for feature articles and publications. Participates in the development and production of brochures, posters and other means of communication and promotion. Responds to general inquiries from internal clients. Collaborates with committees and organizations, and coordinates the details and logistics of projects and activities such as sponsorships. Contacts and consults with stakeholders and clients at various levels of the organization regarding communications files. Updates links and website content and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Communications Section.
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDEDEducation, Certifications and Licenses
College diploma or certificate in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field AND several years of experience in communications, or in a related field
Experience
In drafting, editing, and issuing feature articles, editorials, web site content, presentations, backgrounders, and any other required informative and promotional texts
In interviewing and researching for news articles
In responding to internal clients requests for information
In establishing and maintaining client contact and support
In writing, editing, and updating written standards operating procedures
In coordinating approval processes

English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset
