ASSIGNMENT: Careers 9 (2 blocks),WEX 11 (3 Blocks)

Salary range: $11,062.00 - $20,750.00
Campbell River Christian School is located in Campbell River, mid-Vancouver Island in British Columbia. We are a vibrant Christian school serving families and students from Campbell River, Comox, Quadra Island, and Sayward. We are currently accepting applications for a part-time, temporary, High School teaching position covering a variety of subjects in various grades from January 27, 2026 to June 16, 2026 . The successful candidate will have qualifications/skills which include, but are not limited to:
Possession of a valid BC Professional Teaching certificate/diploma
Experience as a teacher in Careers and Work Experience Programs
Experience in co-teaching with a colleague
Experience working with students in Grades 9-12
Strong assessment practices and familiarity with the Proficiency Scale of Assessment
Demonstration of and growing understanding of incorporating Indigenous-focused learning
Excellent understanding of and experience with differentiated instruction
Demonstration of excellent teaching practices using current pedagogy
Ability to work with diverse students by using various teaching strategies
Demonstration of strong classroom management skills
Possession of excellent listening and communication skills
Ability to work closely with staff in a team approach
Evidence of a strong understanding and support of Christian education
Ability to integrate a biblical worldview into all lessons
Must be a practising Christian with a commitment to the Statements of Faith as outlined in CRCS’s faith Statements as well as the statements of faith as outlined by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI)
