Technical Specialist, Document Management

We are looking for a Technical Specialist who will play a crucial role in establishing, implementing, and maintaining document management activities related to product and project deliverables. Reporting to the Support team lead at the Product Development Expertise Centre, you will have the opportunity to work closely with development teams, ensuring the application of document management and change management processes.

 

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

 

  • Maintain the description of documentation management activities within the management plan to ensure compliance with applicable norms and standards.

  • Support project managers in their deliveries.

  • Perform certain administrative tasks related to the management of deliverables. 

  • Create training materials related to document management processes.

  • Support product teams in resolving document management issues related to their deliverables during the product lifecycle. 

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures and tools related to documentation management.

 

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 

 

  • A university degree in engineering. Any combination of relevant education and experience will also be considered.

  • Experience using and applying document management processes included in quality management systems such as ISO 9001 or ASPICE will be considered an asset.

  • Excellent skills in communication, collaboration, and technical leadership.

  • Strong attention to detail and professional rigour.

  • Professional experience in a product development environment will be considered an asset.

  • Proficiency in English in a professional context, as you may need to interact with BRP stakeholders outside Quebec.
