Description
We are seeking a V&V team leader for connected vehicles, reporting to the Director of Connected Vehicles, to oversee the testing and validation of embedded systems using HIL benches. They coordinate human and technical resources, ensure the quality of deliverables, and guarantee that systems comply with functional and regulatory requirements. In this role, you will have an impact on the delivery of connected products and be a key pillar in managing ongoing activities.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Collaborate with project managers and their teams to plan and coordinate the availability of equipment, technologies, and human resources necessary for verification and validation activities on connected vehicle projects.
Guide and coordinate a team of engineers and technicians specialized in HIL by setting objectives, distributing tasks, monitoring performance, and fostering skills development and employee autonomy.
Consider managing HIL resources by supervising the design, development, and maintenance of test benches, ensuring their availability and reliability, while integrating technological advancements into test tools.
Contribute to defining and configuring the test benches required for testing activities, in alignment with the schedule and roadmap of verification and validation needs.
Coordinate and set priorities according to the validation plans for all connected vehicle projects.
Collaborate in evaluating the effort and follow up on planning for activities such as writing, implementing, and executing test cases.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or DCS in engineering with 5 years of relevant experience in product development.
Excellent ability to mobilize teams around a shared vision, demonstrating leadership, active listening, teaching skills, and strategic rigor to effectively support organizational transformation processes.
Excellent ability to communicate clearly, convincingly, and appropriately to different audiences, fostering collaboration and understanding within teams.
Bilingualism (French/English) required to interact with our partners and collaborators.
Excellent planning and priority management skills.
Accountability for delivering results and determination in achieving objectives.
Strong communication and influencing skills in a multidisciplinary project environment.
