Team Lead, SAP FICO

This role is to lead the SAP Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Information and Technology (I&T) organization at BRP. This group consists of both functional and technical experts supporting the Finance business function. The team is responsible for supporting BRP’s operations and strategy by ensuring operational continuity, delivering continuous value and optimizing application portfolio.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of SAP FICO professionals engaged in programs, project implementations, small improvements delivery and application support.

  • Ensure effective coordination between squads, drive continuous improvement in delivery and support operations across geographies

  • Serve as an escalation point for critical issues or team blockers

  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on technological orientation and investments and expert knowledge in SAP FICO and finance ecosystem (Concur, Blackline, OneSource...)

  • Work with projects managers, team leads, architects, product owners and subject matter experts to estimate effort required to deliver projects/small improvements.

  • Works with Application Management Services (AMS) teams and other partners, and lead continuous improvement activities.

  • Develop relationships with key business partners/users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution.

  • Accountable for application lifecycle management and optimization of the solutions in your portfolio to ensure the business achieves maximum value from their technology investments.

  • Ensures budgeting and planning for lifecycle activities and licenses for products in the application portfolio.

  • Promote an agile culture of servant leadership, collaboration and accountability

  • Suggest improvements for the solutions maintenance/operation.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • University degree or equivalent by experience

  • Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP configuration experience in the following SAP modules: FICO,

  • Minimum 2 years in managing SAP functional teams and leading SAP project delivery workstreams

  • Demonstrate outstanding expertise in SAP FICO functionalities and integration with MM and SD and capable of designing and implementing SAP best practices

  • Experience in scaled agile environment (e.g SAFe, LeSS)

  • Experience working with third-party integrations with SAP

  • Solid understanding of S4 HANA processes and/or SAP ECC

  • High-level experience with cutover, go-live and data migration

  • Experience with international and large-scale projects

  • Training skills to share and transmit your know-how to your peers

  • Dynamic, innovative & problem resolution focus with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Comfortable operating in a multi-time zone environment and participating in escalations for critical support escalations

  • Experience managing professional services contracts and contractors.

  • Ability to constantly adapt and perform in ever evolving environments and business realities

  • You’re able to work in English (written and oral)
