Snowmobile Engine Calibration Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Project Engineer - Engine Calibration to join our engine calibration team. Reporting to the Calibration Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support the Ski‑Doo / ROTAX / Lynx team in the development and calibration of our 2‑strokes and 4‑strokes snowmobile engine & CVT. This role will also cover the definition and measurement of performance criteria, as well as the continuous improvement of our tools and processes.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Participate in the development and validation of our architecture calibration software and electronic modules, as well as in the deployment of our technology

  • Work with our exclusive direct injection technology E‑TEC & ACE engines

  • Support technicians in their test, use of our calibration tools & calibration deployment.

  • Develop software functionalities tailored to the specific characteristics of different vehicle applications.

  • Contribute to the development of exhaust systems and vehicle architectures to achieve performances, NVH and emissions objectives.

  • Collaborate with our centers of expertise (CTA), simulation group, connectivity team, and software team

  • Coordinate and participate in optimization testing on dynamometers and vehicles

  • Diagnose system failure modes and analyze vehicle responses

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, GPA, or Robotics

  • Relevant experience and strong interest in engine calibration and thermodynamics

  • Knowledge of control strategies and tools such as INCA, MDA, nCode, SGE, and MATLAB

  • Curiosity to learn the new technologies related to powertrains, software, and vehicles
