Ski-Doo Product Analyst

The Ski-Doo Product Analyst contributes to the development of global product strategies. Represent the voice of the customer within the overall product development team, influencing product configurations and offerings. Perform the analysis of market research, sales, specifications, pricing, industry trends and market opportunities. Ensure the commercial success of all new products. Interact and collaborate with various departments (engineering, design, marketing, market planning, finance, etc.)

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Analyze global market data, competitive activity, demographic & lifestyle trends to identify market opportunities for strategic growth.

  • Develop and maintain competitive analysis on specs, capabilities, timing, pricing, online discussions, etc.

  • Contribute to pricing, configurations, volume forecast and market research strategies.

  • Contribute to product presentations made to management, media, sales team, marketing team and agencies.

  • Be recognized as the product expert reference to support the marketing team in the introduction of new models.

  • Participate in product evaluation rides and product introduction rides to media.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/administration, Mechanical Engineering or Finance.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or product development.

  • Strong strategic sense, planning and analytical skills with strong abilities with Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, various formula types, and more) and PowerPoint.

  • Must absolutely be passionate about powersports, especially snowmobiling. Snowmobile riding experience is a plus.

  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills (Presentation, ability to persuade an audience), French a plus.

  • Eye for detail is essential.

  • Good team player.

  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure.
