Description
We are looking for a Procurement Project Manager who will report to the Head of Vehicle Development Purchasing to help us bring BRP’s new products to market. In this role, you will play a key role in supporting the organization’s growth by serving as the global procurement liaison between various departments involved in research and development, as well as project industrialization.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Act as a leader within development teams to track procurement deliverables for projects under his/her responsibility;
Evaluate and plan deliverables throughout the project development cycle to propose and adopt a global procurement plan.
Analyze, justify and communicate the various opportunities and risks the organization will face in project development with respect to procurement strategies, assembly capacity, and in-house manufacturing;
Participate and/or present delivery statuses for projects under its governance;
Coordinate the procurement of parts according to NPD (New Product Development) deliverables, and influence and support all project stakeholders through constant follow-up, from prototype to production launch;
Monitor project costs, justify variances and influence decisions in line with corporate strategies;
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor's degree in business administration or other related discipline;
5 years of relevant experience in procurement and project management;
Bilingualism is essential, both spoken and written, as the person in this role will be representing BRP to international suppliers (French/English). Fluency in Spanish would be an asset.
Demonstrate leadership, teamwork and communication skills;
Dynamic, versatile, autonomous, rigorous and structured.
Excellent analytical, influencing and mobilization skills;
Available to travel occasionally.
The position is based in Valcourt, with the possibility of partial telecommuting.
