Procurement Coordinator, Global Parts & Accessories

Reporting to the Category Owner, as a Procurement Coordinator you will play a crucial part in supporting the organization’s growth through strategic and efficient management of procurement activities.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Order and Procurement Management:

  • Create and manage Purchase Orders (PO) and Supplier Agreements (SA).

  • Expedite and adjust orders to align with changing needs.

  • Resolve backorders and maintain up-to-date procurement parameters.

Demand Management and Inventory Visibility:

  • Provide proactive visibility on incoming inventory.

  • Manage constrained demand and anticipate risks and opportunities (R&O).

  • Handle product substitutions to minimize supply chain disruptions.

  • Contribute to the inventory optimization, by providing commodity insights and by sharing opportunities to the inventory team.

Profitability and Supplier Relations Optimization:

  • Execute and apply contracts to secure favorable terms.

  • Collaborate closely with Legal and Strategic Sourcing teams.

  • Track supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to maximize profitability.

Process Expertise and Problem Solving:

  • Leverage deep understanding of manufacturing processes to inform procurement strategies.

  • Act as a key problem solver for supplier and process-related issues.

  • Execute a commodity strategy that limits exposure to risk and liability through strategic planning

YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.

  • Proficiency in SAP and IBP is an asset.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Strong analytical skills, versatility, and a collaborative team spirit.
