Description
The IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Administrator is responsible for implementing and maintaining the organization’s ability to withstand, respond to, and recover effectively from cyberattacks or major incidents. This role plays a key part in ensuring the continuity of IT operations by securing the protection, backup, and safe recovery of critical systems and data.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Maintain and evolve the backup platform to meet the organization’s needs.
- Design backup, replication, and restoration solutions tailored to the criticality levels of systems.
- Ensure that the company’s backup policies are respected and maintained.
- Perform regular recovery and continuity tests, analyze results, and propose improvements.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and governance teams to ensure a coordinated response to incidents.
- Participate in post-incident analysis to identify root causes and strengthen defense mechanisms.
- Identify risks related to IT service availability and recommend mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with internal security and continuity standards and policies.
- Work with HP equipment (Tape Library). Work closely with the cybersecurity team.
- Participate in compliance and security audits based on international standards (ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST, SOX, etc.).
- Document architecture, procedures, and best practices in English. Hold a degree in IT, cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Stay up to date with technological advancements in resilience and continuity solution
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- 8 to 10 years of experience managing large-scale Microsoft/Linux and VMware environments, ideally in an international or multi-site context.
- Proficiency in backup, restoration, and system monitoring tools (CommVault).
- Knowledge of CommVault cloud backup software (AGP).
- Experience in IT business continuity or cybersecurity.
- Ability to work in a team and manage crisis situations.
- Strong analytical skills, rigor, and initiative.
- Proficiency in French and technical English, both written and spoken.
Assets:
- Knowledge of the monitoring software “Dynatrace”.
- Familiarity with automation solutions (PowerShell, Ansible, Bash).
- Experience with task scheduling solutions (Control-M).
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards in large enterprises (ISO, SOC, etc.).
