Description
The continuous improvement analyst plays a key role in driving operational excellence within the finance controllership function. This role focuses on identifying process inefficiencies, implementing automation, and ensuring compliance with internal controls while supporting accurate and timely financial reporting.
This role, based at our Montreal’s office, will report directly to the Finance Director & Corporate Controller.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Analyze existing finance and accounting processes to identify gaps, redundancies and improvement opportunities;
Develop & implement standardized processes, tools and automation;
Evaluate emerging technologies to improve controllership processes;
Facilitate workshops to promote a culture of continuous improvement;
Ensure adherence to SOX and other regulatory requirements.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
5 years of relevant experience
Proficiency with SAP and automation tools
Continuous improvement mindset
Ability to manage multiple projects
Strong collaboration and influencing skills
