This role is designed to be part of the Center of Excellence (CoE), PA&A (Parts, Accessories & Apparel) within the Information and Technology (I&T) organization at BRP. This group consists of functional and technical system experts across multiple application portfolios supporting end to end business capabilities of the Parts, Accessories and Apparel business unit. The team is responsible for Application Lifecycle Management as well as project delivery to enable BRP to maximize its I&T investments in new and existing solutions and achieve its goals and future growth objectives. YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Oversee the delivery (Agile and Waterfall) of IT initiatives of an entire portfolio from small enhancements to large scale projects.
Develop project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
Coordinate project activities and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide guidance and support to team members.
Foster a collaborative team environment and promote effective communication.
Communicate project status, milestones, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Manage expectations and ensure stakeholders are informed throughout the project lifecycle.
Facilitate stakeholder meetings and discussions to gather requirements and feedback.
Oversee consultants onboarding, including contract negotiation, resource allocation and supervision.
Define consultant roles and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with project needs.
Evaluate consultant performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with project requirements.
Complete standard PMO deliverables.
Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Address issues and challenges promptly, seeking resolution through collaboration and problem-solving.
Escalate critical issues to senior management or stakeholders as needed.
Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring financial accountability and cost control.
Optimize resource utilization and allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Forecast resource needs and plan for future project phases or initiatives.
Evaluate project outcomes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Implement lessons learned and best practices to enhance project delivery processes.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the project team
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or related field.
Experience in the manufacturing or distribution industry is an asset.
Proven experience as an IT delivery lead, IT project manager, scrum master, or similar role.
Strong understanding of lean principles, work organization best practices (including Agile), project management principles, and IT delivery processes.
A recognized certification in project management (PMP, ACP, PSM, etc.) would be an asset.
Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence and inspire teams to embrace Agile principles, project management practices, and collaboration.
Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders outside of Quebec or unilingual English-speaking on a daily basis.
