Description
We are looking for a Decal Designer to develop materials, the application and decal designs. You will have a leading role in improving the quality of the decals, innovate during the conception of new products and in turn influence the quality of the delivered product. You will collaborate with the engineering, production, legal, product conformity, logistics and design teams as well as many others.
As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth. You’ll be at the forefront of bringing a wide range of new talent to BRP.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Participate actively in the design and conception of the crate structure and of its components.
Produce the technical drawings necessary for the manufacturing of components and crates for our vehicles.
Follow up on the different phases of development including the prototype testing and the production starts.
Participate in the exchanges and search for innovative solutions and problem solving.
Manage the list of materials by using SmarTeam and SAP
Ensure the communication between the different groups in the organization and the suppliers on technical items.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
D.E.C. in mechanical engineering, design concentration or equivalent.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and good enough english skills to communicate with partners outside Québec.
Be comfortable managing a lot of information and multiple projects at once
Knowledge of the CATIA application is an advantage.
Leadership and teamwork skills are essential.
