We are looking for someone interested in developing their skills in relation to the Global Trade compliance system and data enhancement. It is a great opportunity to gather a very wide understanding of how systems, processes and tools work together to support our products’ movements across borders during their entire product life cycle. From a continuous improvement or agile project driven perspective, your role will be critical to our success and growth.
As part of a multidisciplinary project delivery team, you will be involved in a wide array of local and international initiatives where teamwork and people development are part of our main team values.
Please don’t consider knowledge of the global trade compliance world as a prerequisite. We all have developed this expertise while working it out and still learning everyday! We will take care of helping you develop your knowledge and expertise.
YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
Learn our compliance environment, process and data structures to develop PowerBI reports and/or process improvements
Analyze our dataset for data improvement opportunities in collaboration with data and process stakeholders
Manage GTS specific master data sources from diverse sources internal and external, validate and load data in different systems and environment
Support systems process improvements from requirements identification to user acceptance.
Support stakeholders with change management activities related to systems and data improvement initiatives
YOU WILL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
University degree in a subject related to information technology or data management
Knowledge of data management concepts, Power BI or equivalent technologies is an asset
Open mind to develop your technical analytical skills
Very good interpersonal and teamwork skills, leadership, curiosity and a good sense of organization
Ability to put oneself in the position of stakeholders
Ability to work effectively based on objectives and with minimal supervision
Bilingualism essential both oral and written (English & French)
Experience in an environment related to manufacturing operations an asset
