Description
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant reporting to the Head of Quality Assembly and the Head of Health and Safety. In this role you will have the opportunity to support the operations teams in day-to-day activities and administrative tasks.
YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of annual budgets, document the required justifications, and produce and analyze monthly projections, ensuring the accuracy of coding and explaining variances.
- Draft, correct and format various reports, documents, tables and internal and external correspondence for the head of the department.
- Prepare and process various purchase requisitions.
- Manage scheduling on an ongoing basis by convening meetings, and preparing meeting reports, presentations and agendas.
- Make travel reservations, ensuring that internal travel policies are followed; complete expense accounts.
- Manage, filter and redirect telephone calls or email messages addressed to the director and department heads.
- Act as a resource person during the integration of new employees (access requests, requests for computer equipment, transmitting company culture, responding to various requests, etc.).
- Provide administrative support (SAP access administrator, sorting and distributing mail, managing the service desk, fax and photocopy requests and meeting room reservations, printer maintenance, holiday follow-up).
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
- A post-secondary degree in secretarial or office automation or equivalent.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of the following software: Google Suite and Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, as well as very good knowledge of SAP is required.
- Very good knowledge of French, both written and spoken; English would be an asset.
- Autonomous, dynamic and a good team player.
