Under the supervision of the Director Operational Logistics and Procurement, the Buyer is primarily responsible for the purchase of all materials for construction sites across Canada and the United States.

- Technical training in logistics, procurement or relevant experience;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field;
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Problem-solving skills.Great autonomy and ability to react effectively in emergency situations;
- High sense of initiative and respect for commitments;
- Strong organizational and priority management skills;
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including MS Office and Excel.
What you will do to complete this mission successfully:
- Receive purchase requisitions from Site Logistics Coordinators and Superintendents;
- Purchase materials and equipment for construction sites.Process purchase orders and amendments, and obtain necessary approvals.Verify and process invoices and purchase orders, including coding;
- Create new suppliers and follow up as necessary to ensure that Borea's accounts remain up to date;
- Seek innovative products and new suppliers for the different provinces;
- Follow up on out-of-stock products;
- May reconcile delivery notes, purchase orders and invoices.Solicit bids from suppliers;
- Follow the procedures established by the ISO system;
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders.
