The Labour Relations Advisor plays a key role in maintaining harmonious relations between the employer, employees and unions. It ensures the fair and uniform application of the laws, collective agreements and regulations governing the construction industry in Québec.

- Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, labour law, human resources or related field;
- In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework of the construction industry in Quebec (asset);
- Experience in collective bargaining and conflict management (asset);
- Excellent communication, diplomacy and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple files simultaneously.
What you will do to complete this mission successfully:
- Provide advice and support to managers and operational teams on labour relations issues;
- Interpreting, explaining and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and collective agreements;
- Manage labour disputes, grievances and complaints by proposing fair and equitable solutions;
- Maintain up-to-date case law and in-depth knowledge of legislation;
- Coach managers and employees on best practices in labour relations;
- Represent the organization on committees or organizations related to labour relations;
- Work with unions to foster a healthy and productive work environment;
- Support our hiring projects with First Nations;
- Ensure a follow-up with our sites at the level of the federal ITC program: union requests, job postings, reports to customers and s-contractors.
