Chief accountant

We are looking for an individual to fill the position of Chief Accountant.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

The objective of this role is to support the CFO and be the lead accountant.

This person must be autonomous and dynamic with a desire to learn.

Education in accounting and bilingualism is required.

Experience and training

Bachelor's degree in accounting

3-5 years of experience - Supervision an asset

Maitrise Excel

Good knowledge of Access and other databases (SQL) an asset

Analytical skills

Autonomy

Team spirit

Job description

Prepare monthly and annual financial statements

Prepare the monthly reporting package for the head office.

Contribute to the development of the budget and the monitoring of expenses

Supervise and assist bank reconciliations / cash flow monitoring

Miscellaneous analyses

Plan, coordinate and prepare the documents required for the external audit

Assistance in the management of the finance team (AP / AR / Payroll).

Be at the service of other departments for analyses and requests for specific information

Various financial files; Contracts

Related tasks (e.g. building management)
