Application Deadline: 05/30/2024 Address: 100 King Street West Job Family Group: Customer Solutions Innovation Strategist, Wealth Management Reporting directly to the Head of Wealth Management Innovation Lab, the Innovation Strategist combines strategy and practical implementation of emerging technologies and trends, such as artificial intelligence (Traditional AI and Generative AI). The innovation Strategist will accelerate the strategic objectives of BMO Wealth Management Leadership and help BMO take a leadership position as the industry evolves. The Innovation Strategist provides expertise in the design, development, management and implementation of assigned projects from business case development through to execution. Works across BMO to deliver specific project/program results in alignment with overall group goals. Acts as a trusted advisor to assigned business/group. Influences and negotiates to achieve business objectives. Recommends and implements solutions based on analysis of issues and implications for the business. Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making. Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business/group strategy. Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues. Supports the execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders. Ensures alignment between stakeholders. Coordinates the management of databases; ensures alignment and integration of data in adherence with data governance standards. Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues. Builds change management plans of varying scope and type; leads or participates in a variety of change management activities including readiness assessments, planning, stakeholder management, execution, evaluation and sustainment of initiatives. Provides input into the planning and implementation of operational programs. Acts as a relationship manager on assigned projects/programs and ensures alignment to overall enterprise and group goals. Collaborates with internal & external stakeholders to provide business context in the design, develop and implementation of programs & solutions. Breaks down strategic problems, and analyses data and information to provide insights and recommendations. Drives cross business/group coordination and logistical support for the implementation of change. Works on initiatives with varied complexity, typically involving multiple stakeholders across BMO. Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise-wide focus. Provides specialized consulting, analytical and technical support. Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules. Works independently and regularly handles non-routine situations. Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications: Typically between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience (financial services or management consulting). Previous business and/or enterprise Corporate Strategy experience leading projects/initiatives to support the companys strategic decisions, strongly desired. Post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience (MBA, or masters degree in Statistics / Computer Science / Business Analytics / Economics or any other quantitative field) Demonstrated experience leading complex initiatives. Strong PowerPoint and modelling capabilities and ability to articulate complex subject matter Broad knowledge of Bank products, services, and organization. In-depth knowledge of the wealth management and/or the financial industry Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience. Data driven decision making - In-depth. Compensation and Benefits: $68,000.00 - $126,000.00 Pay Type: Salaried The above represents BMO Financial Groups pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Groups expected target for the first year in this position. BMO Financial Groups total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
