Recruitment Services Advisor

Reporting Relationship: The Recruitment Services Advisor reports directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Recruitment Services Advisor to join our Recruitment and Human Resource team. In this role, you will play a key part in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent across our organization. You will act as a trusted partner to leaders, helping to build high-performing, diverse teams that support our continued growth

Shift Details: Monday - Friday | Full-Time days

What You'll Do:

• Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies

• Lead full-cycle recruitment across a variety of roles (e.g., technicians, sales, administration, leadership)

• Develop inclusive job postings and sourcing strategies to attract diverse candidate pools

• Screen, interview, and assess candidates using structured and equitable processes leveraging our HRIS system

• Provide guidance to leaders on hiring best practices, labour market trends, and candidate experience

• Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and high-volume roles

• Support Birchwood branding initiatives and community partnerships

• Track and report on recruitment metrics to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR (Automotive or multi-site experience is an asset)

• Undergraduate degree/Diploma in HR or related field, with commitment to work toward CPHR designation

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals

• A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in hiring practices

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Sound judgment and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools

• Ability to leverage social media to achieve branding and awareness in the marketplace
