You will contribute to:
- Assisting in the preparation, cleaning, transformation, and quality inspection of data.
- Supporting feature engineering and predictor selection for predictive modeling tasks.
- Contributing to the construction, testing, and optimization of statistical and machine learning models (e.g., regression, clustering, time series analysis, classification).
- Writing clear and reproducible code in Python or R to support model development and data workflows.
- Contributing to the documentation of methods, model specifications, and internal knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Currently a student in a COOP program for a bachelor's or master's degree in data science, statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Python or R, SQL, and a good understanding of machine learning techniques.
- Strong analytical skills, curiosity, and attention to detail.
- Autonomy, organizational skills, and good time management.
- Team spirit and collaboration skills.
