Operating primarily in the food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical sectors, the company is currently looking for a Technical Sales Representative to join its South Shore of Montréal branch.
In this role, you’ll leverage your technical know-how to deliver customized solutions that meet your clients’ specific needs. You’ll play a key part in driving business growth by building long-lasting relationships and promoting high-quality products and services.
Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities with both existing and potential clients.
- Prospect new clients and promote the company’s products and services.
- Assess and respond to clients’ technical needs.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with distributors and suppliers.
- Maintain profitable, long-term relationships with existing clients.
- Advise clients on the best products for their specific applications.
- Prepare, write, and present quotations and proposals to clients.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support as needed.
- Validate order information and create purchase orders in the internal system.
- Ensure proper after-sales follow-up with customers.
- Manage product inventory.
- Perform cross-selling and recommend complementary products.
- Participate in internal and supplier-provided training programs.
- Support other sales representatives as needed.
- Perform any other related duties as required.
