Beaudet Landscaping is a company specializing in high-end landscape construction throughout the Eastern Townships region of Quebec. We complete residential and commercial projects including the installation of interlocking pavers, retaining walls, plantings, drainage systems, grading, and various outdoor landscape features. We are seeking a dynamic, hardworking individual who enjoys working outdoors to join our team.
Position TitleLandscape Technician / Landscaper
Position SummaryThe Landscaper participates in the completion of landscape construction projects by performing a variety of outdoor construction and landscaping tasks. Working as part of a team, the Landscaper helps deliver high-quality projects that meet Beaudet Landscaping’s standards of excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesLandscape Construction- Install interlocking pavers, slabs, edging, and retaining walls.
- Perform the planting of trees, shrubs, perennials, and ground cover.
- Prepare sites, including excavation, grading, and compaction.
- Install soil, mulch, decorative stone, and other landscaping materials.
- Assist with the installation of drainage and water management systems.
- Construct stairs, retaining walls, and other landscape structures.
- Perform seeding and sod installation.
- Safely operate tools and equipment required for landscaping projects.
- Use equipment such as plate compactors, concrete saws, mini-excavators, skid steers, and other specialized tools.
- Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of tools and equipment.
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients.
- Represent the company positively on job sites.
- Promptly report any issues, concerns, or client requests to the supervisor.
- Experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Good physical condition and ability to perform demanding manual labour.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Punctual, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
- Valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
- Experience operating light or heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
