Your Opportunity

Our National Office in Toronto is looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager, Facilitation, to join the talent development team. This role will be critical in facilitating master-level workshops aimed at guiding executive and senior leadership teams toward developing key skills and capabilities. This role will report directly to the Chief Learning & Development Officer and will own responsibilities for both executive facilitation across the firm and overseeing L&D and Leadership Development facilitation team.

  • Masterful facilitation: Successfully facilitate master-level workshops for executive and senior leadership teams, driving the development of key skills and capabilities.
  • Strategic collaboration: Effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, coaches, and program managers to deliver seamless and integrated learning solutions.
  • Customized solutions: Design and deliver tailored workshops that meet the specific needs and objectives of each engagement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Capability development: Develop a robust facilitator capability model and implement an internal certification program to enhance facilitation skills across the firm.
  • Program innovation: Create and execute a Train-the-Facilitator program to support the firm's L&D cohort learning and Leadership Development initiatives.
  • Thought leadership: Establish yourself as a thought leader in executive facilitation, staying ahead of emerging trends and introducing innovative methodologies.
  • Team leadership: Provide inspiring leadership, coaching, and career guidance to the L&D and Leadership Development facilitation team, fostering an environment of psychological safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Impactful results: Demonstrate tangible results in achieving organizational objectives, enhancing team effectiveness, and driving a culture of learning and development at BDO.

Your experience and education

  • You have a university degree in business, organizational development, psychology, or a related field, Master’s degree preferred.
  • You have 15+ years of experience in executive-level facilitation, preferably within a Consulting or Financial Services industries.
  • You have Master-level facilitation credentials or certification. IAF preferred.
  • You have strong coaching skills at all levels. ICF certification is an asset but not required.
  • French language is preferred.
  • You have exceptional facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse groups of senior leaders and executives.
  • You have proven track record of successfully guiding executive teams through strategic planning processes and achieving measurable results.
  • You have strong understanding of organizational dynamics, leadership development principles, and change management concepts.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentation).
  • You have an excellent ability to build relationships and maintain trust with executive level stakeholders.
  • You are focused on providing an exceptional client experience.
  • You are a powerful thinker, great sense-maker, and a de-fogger.
  • You have tact, political savvy, influencing skills and exceptional sense of humor.
