Our London office is looking for a full-time (37.5 hours per week) Intermediate Accountant to join the US Corporate Tax team and own the following responsibilities:

Job description/duties:

  • Assist with the preparation of year-end engagements and US corporate tax returns for our clients in a variety of industries
  • Competently prepare various US foreign reporting forms
  • Efficiently prepare US treaty-based return forms as per regulatory standards
  • Work with Internal Revenue Service, and state revenue agencies in order to respond to our clients’ requests
  • Assist Tax Managers and other team members with compliance and consulting engagements
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to request and suggestions

Your experience and education:

  • Have completed at least a Bachelors degree in Accounting, or other related field of study
  • Have completed or be pursuant of a professional designation (Canadian or US), as applicable/eligible
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the public accounting industry (experience in US Corporate Tax required for this intermediate position)
  • Willingness to gain expertise in US Corporate Tax
  • You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to communicate in French will be considered an asset
  • Desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
