Your Opportunity

BDO Digital is looking for a Dayforce Data Conversion Consultant to join our People Experience team, with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada. The individual will own the following responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the client and implementation team to convert the client’s data to Dayforce HCM specifications

  • Follow an established process for each iteration of the project (kick-off, receive data, field and data map, validate, test, and deliver)

  • Work consultatively throughout the project and follow all established practices to ensure customer data is handled securely

  • Provide regular project updates, identify risks, and communicate issues to the Project Manager and Data Conversion Manager, following established SLA and timelines

  • Consult on data extraction

  • Map source data to Dayforce HCM file specifications with the customer and Implementation Team

  • Provide customers with follow-up consulting and general assistance in areas of expertise

  • Be a “go-to” resource for data conversion for both internal and external users

  • Document solutions and contribute to a solutions repository

  • Document best practices and share with the Practice

  • Contribute to internal knowledge share; review questions and provide feedback on a continuous basis

Your experience and education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Data Conversion

  • 3-5+ years in consultant role with Dayforce HCM

  • Experience in business process mapping

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

  • Experienced with software in a SaaS / Cloud computing environment including experience with HRIS

  • Solid understanding of relational databases, application development and SQL

  • Understanding knowledge of common human capital management (HCM) business practices

  • Excellent customer relationship acumen

  • Ability to engage with multiple projects & customers at the same time and manage competing priorities

  • Excellent organization, communication and collaboration skills

  • Ability to lead and facilitate customer and internal data conversion sessions
