The Team
As a Judicial Administrative Clerk (JAC) at Superior Courts Judiciary, you will join a skilled and dedicated team that plays a vital role in supporting the work of the Supreme Court of BC and the Court of Appeal for BC. The JAC team is an established group of professionals-including Judicial Administrative Assistants, Team Leads, and a Manager-who work together to ensure the smooth operation of judicial chambers. The Role
As a Judicial Administrative Clerk at Superior Courts Judiciary, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the courts by preparing judicial reasons for judgment, managing sensitive correspondence, coordinating travel, and handling confidential legal materials with care and professionalism. This is meaningful work that directly supports access to justice for people across British Columbia and helps uphold the rule of law. Qualifications:
Education and Experience Requirements

  • Secondary school graduation (Grade 12) or equivalent (GED).
  • One (1) year of experience working in office support/administration

Preference may be given to candidates with

  • Legal Administrative Assistant certificate
  • Ability to read and write in French
  • Experience in a legal setting such as court services, judiciary, law office or justice sector

.About this Position:
One (1) permanent full time position is available.
Some travel may be required.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 1 day at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Enhanced Security Screening will be required.
This position is excluded from union membership.
