Job Requirements: Minimum of a bachelors degree in related discipline of Criminology, Sociology, Social Work or other human services and completion of a Youth Probation Officer training program. Minimum of 5 years experience working within the community youth forensic services, and/or custody youth justice system. Preference May Be Given to Applicants: With more than 5 years experience working within the community, youth forensic or custody services. With experience at the supervisory or management level. Who have experience in policy development and training. Who have experience with quality assurance and responding to practice improvement. Who self-identify as First Nations, Mtis, or Inuit with the required combination of education and experience. Willingness Statements May require use of your own vehicle, with appropriate insurance, on an expense account basis. May require flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends. Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work from home a few days a week subject to an approved telework agreement. This position can be based in any Ministry of Children and Family Development office.
