Program Managers in the Standards and Evaluation Unit play pivotal roles in the oversight of provincial law enforcement by: developing legally binding Provincial Policing Standards that govern the efficient and effective delivery of policing in British Columbia, and evaluating compliance with those standards. Job Requirements: University degree in a related discipline (Criminology, Law, Social Science, Political Science, Public Administration or Business Administration); OR, an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 3 years of recent, progressively-responsible, related work experience in the administration of a major program(s). A minimum of 3 years recent, related experience in research and analysis, policy development, or evaluation or audit methods. Experience engaging diverse stakeholders in the review, development and negotiations of program delivery or policy and in representing an organization and establishing and maintaining effective relationships. Experience leading, planning, coordinating and managing complex projects and work assignments, facilitating issues in a highly sensitive environment and setting priorities between high profile and competing needs. About this Position: This is a temporary opportunity until October 31, 2025, which may become permanent. An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies. This position is excluded from union membership. This position can be based out of any of the locations listed above. Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 5 days at home per week subject to an approved Telework Agreement.
