A rewarding daily routine
Be the first smile of the day by welcoming students aboard and safely transporting them between home and school.
Help keep children safe, both inside the bus and around the vehicle while they are getting on and off.
Create a calm, respectful and reassuring environment by ensuring safety rules are followed and promoting appropriate behaviour on board.
Perform required safety and compliance checks before departure to ensure the vehicle is safe and ready for the road.
Keep the bus clean, tidy and welcoming to provide a pleasant experience for all passengers.
Complete all required documentation (RDS reports, daily logs and other records) accurately and thoroughly.
Monitor fuel levels and refuel when necessary to ensure the vehicle is always ready to go.

ALL ABOARD?
No criminal record related to the position;
Have a good driving record;
Good knowledge of the local area;
Be at least 21 years old, the minimum age required to hold a school bus driver’s licence in Quebec;
Have at least 2 years of driving experience in Quebec;
Proficiency in French;
Functional knowledge of English to communicate with some English-speaking passengers;
Class 1 or Class 2 driver’s licence;
Valid Class 5 driver’s licence (required);
Valid Canadian open work permit (required).
Charter Trips:
Looking to earn extra income? You can also take on charter trips outside your regular school bus route. These trips are paid based on a percentage of the trip value before taxes, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings based on your availability.
