His/her main responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensuring the smooth functioning of the accounts payable team They oversee the accurate and prompt processing of invoices Review supplier statements, create invoices for intercompany charges, and manage petty cash Building and maintaining positive relationships with vendors is crucial The manager leads and guides the accounts payable staff, ensuring their productivity and adherence to procedures They safeguard the integrity of the accounts payable process Preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with tax regulations Ensure the reconciliation of all AP accounts Improving and enforcing company budgets, financial policies, and processes Support the Controller with ad hoc requests WHAT YOULL NEED: 3-5 years experience in a similar role Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field (though experience may be preferred) In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Comfort with computer systems, knowledge of Sage 300 is an asset Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities Ability to lead and motivate a team GROW WITH US!
