Part-/Full-Time Special Education Assistants (SEAs)
Penticton Christian School (PCS) is a multi-denominational, multi-ethnical, K-12, Christian professional learning community. It is classified as a Group 1 independent school, providing provincially mandated BC curriculum to its students.
The school has a strong and very successful special/inclusive education program.
Multiple special education assistant positions (both part-time and full-time) are available at the school, beginning August 29, 2024, and ending June 26, 2025.
Successful candidates are committed Christians and possess the ability to work closely with other staff members, special/inclusive education students, parents, and the school's administration. Experience working with children with ASD, Down Syndrome, and/or chronic health conditions would be an asset, as would IEP writing experience (pro-D and training will be ongoing). Hourly wages will be commensurate with experience, education, and the recommendations as contained in the 2024-2025 Compensation Report of the Society of Christian Schools in BC, between $23.89 and $28.77 per hour .
