Description
We are currently looking for a dependable individual with a strong work ethic to assist the teacher in the classroom and provide additional support for lower elementary students. Early Childhood Training and/or previous experience working with speech and language development would be an asset. You must exhibit a strong interest in working with children, be friendly in nature and be sensitive towards children’s needs.
This is a part time probationary (0.7 FTE) position in Altario School to commence immediately. You will be required to work 21 hours per week. You must be able to exhibit the associated skills to communicate with students and teachers in a meaningful and professional manner. You will be expected to present yourself as an organized and professional representative of the staff, both in person, on the telephone and through correspondence. Previous experience working within a fast-paced, team environment would be an asset.
