POSTING: #00-2023/24 - Teacher Teaching On Call (TTOC)

School District No. 53 (Okanagan Similkameen) is hiring Teacher Teaching On Call teachers for the 2023/24 school year.

Qualifications Required:

recognized education degree;

recently graduated or soon to be graduated from a recognized education program or recent successful classroom experience;

ability to adapt curriculum, programs, and instruction to meet the diverse needs of students;

ability to model, teach and foster social, emotional and cultural awareness;

knowledge of current 21st century pedagogy and assessment practices;

demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the professional community at the school and district level;

effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and classroom management skills;

ability to integrate technologies and digital citizenship into educational programs; and

BC Professional Teaching Certificate and current eligibility for Teacher Qualification Service card.
