Regional Sales Manager_ Central and Western Canada

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving profitable growth across the Municipal and Industrial markets in Central and Western Canada. This role leads the development and execution of short- and long-term sales strategies, identifies new business opportunities, and strengthens market presence. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong sales and business development leadership, with the ability to challenge existing industry practices and introduce innovative approaches.

Duties/Responsibilities
(include but are not limited to the following:)
  • Participate in formulating business development goals, marketing plans and sales strategies.
  • Assess market potential and product positioning for APG-Neuros products and services;
  • Set up own sales strategies to enter these markets; sales approach, pricing, account penetration, competitive reviews and counter actions.
  • Evaluate and define economic justification and positioning of our product on customer projects,
  • Develop and grow partnerships and strategic alliances with strategic customers.
  • Define business development opportunities and prepare plans to effectively reach the customer base in the municipal and industrial markets.
  • Effectively manage customer relations to grow customer loyalty.
  • Provide leadership as it relates to brand image, marketing activities, exhibitions, promotions and sales support material.
  • Develop, in concert with other members of the management team, the long and mid-term sales forecasts in terms, annual deliveries and market penetration of these markets.
  • Direct sales campaigns strategy and approach; act as capture manager for major programs and conduct all activities including proposal preparation to win those programs.

Requested skills

Required Skills/Abilities

  • An engineering and Business degree.
  • Business-to-Business sales experience in Industrial and Municipal markets.
  • Knowledgeable in government municipal and/or industrial procurement processes.
  • Proven track record in marketing, sales and business development.
  • Has led and won a major campaign in a complex environment.
  • Has dealt with OEM in developing sales campaign, alliances, and partnerships.
  • Over five years experience in a similar position.
  • English, knowledge of French or other languages is an asset.
