This position has the overall responsibility for logistics and traffic management, customs documentation, and commercial invoicing of finished product shipments between Ansell plants, external vendors to NA region warehouses as well as coordination of internal transfers between warehouses.

Here are some of the specific responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day in-transits, delayed shipments, and priorities with the warehouses across North America.
  • Track and report on receiving transactions discrepancies, ensure weekly in-transit reporting with the associated Customer Back Orders (CBO) is calculated and transmitted,
  • Identify the top priority shipments, and follow-up with the 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) concerning delayed shipments.
  • Update systems and inform the Planning and Customer Service teams on revised ETA dates.
  • Ensure that the current NA Logistics processes in place are applied.

Requested skills

Experience:

  • Transportation/ Logistics/ Supply Chain related degree or relevant technical degree
  • 1-3 years relevant logistical/traffic experience
  • Experience with ERP Systems (Dynamics 365 and/or Oracle Preferred)

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills in English & French (Bilingual)
  • Excellent PC skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite (PDF annotations)
  • Strong organizational and time mgmt. skills, ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Customer service minded and team player
  • Self-driven and result oriented
