Job Description

Main responsabilities

  • Prepare parts before shot blasting : cleaning, visual inspection, masking and position.
  • Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, technical data sheets, and customer requirements.
  • Perform controlled shot blasting operations according to prescribed parameters.
  • Use shot blasting as a forming process to modify the shape or curvature of parts.
  • Adjust treatment areas based on the part's reaction and the results obtained.
  • Perform simple visual and dimensional checks before, during, and after the operation.
  • Use the necessary measuring tools to monitor the shape of the parts.
  • Comply with quality, traceability, and aerospace compliance requirements.
  • Complete production documentation and report any non-conformities or anomalies.
  • Maintain a clean work area and apply health and safety rules.

Required Skills:

  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow precise technical instructions.
  • Observational skills and patience when performing work.
  • Ability to work with high-value or complexly shaped parts.
  • Rigorous adherence to quality procedures.
  • Team spirit and good communication skills with the production, quality, and methods departments.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or aerospace environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of shot blasting, forming, or surface treatments is an asset.
