Anglophone North School District is seeking an experienced and dynamic educational leader to serve as Principal of NSER. The successful candidate will foster a positive school culture, support staff and students, and lead ongoing school improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide instructional leadership and promote continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
- Manage school operations including staffing, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Foster a positive and orderly school climate.
- Support student well-being and discipline in accordance with district guidelines.
- Monitor student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with staff, parents, and the community to support school goals.
- Lead strategic planning and school improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with provincial education standards and district policies.
- Valid New Brunswick Teacher's License Certificate.
- New Brunswick Principal's Certificate.
- Master of Education (preferred).
- Continuing Contract with the Province of New Brunswick.
- Minimum of five years teaching experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an education setting.
- A strong commitment to students and learning
- Extensive curricular knowledge
- Understanding of the school improvement process and professional learning communities
- Strong technological skills and a forward‑thinking vision
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative, inclusive decision‑making abilities
- A positive, proactive approach to leading the change process
