Amica embraces pay- for- performance compensation philosophy and offers a competitive total compensation package designed to reward performance. 

 Expected Salary Range : $$61,000 to $83,600

Maximum Bonus Potential :  15% target bonus, that rewards exceptional performance.

What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Operations, the Billing & Revenue Analyst will be responsible for end-to-end resident handling through partnering with community team members.  The incumbent will demonstrate keen attention to detail and a strong bias for action.  S/he values collaborative relationships and is dedicated to professional excellence.

 

 Resident Handling

·                  Support communities by entering move-in and move out details

·                  Lead the monthly process to monitor rent increases by working with communities

·                  Provide daily support to the communities regarding resident changes

·                  Create templates for ancillary revenue and work with communities to ensure timely preparation and posting

·                  Ensure timely preparation of move out deposit cheques for residents and maintain the security deposit ledger

·                  Provide daily support to the communities regarding resident changes

·                  Investigate and resolve community and resident inquiries

 Monthly Billing

·                  Prepare monthly billing report and work with communities to ensure accuracy

·                  Reconcile accounts receivable aging report to the general ledger and follow up on outstanding AR reports

·                  Prepare monthly revenue reconciliation and variance analysis reports

·                  Provide insight on rate and occupancy to the property accounting group for detailed budget to actual analysis

 Internal Controls

·                  Prepare audit schedules and analyses and provide support for financial audits

·                  Monitor and enforce internal controls surrounding revenue and receivables process

 Tax Compliance

·                  Filing of provincial sales taxes

·                  Prepare annual tax receipts and tax letters for residents

 

 What do you need to succeed?

 

 Should Have:

·        Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Accounting or 1+ years finance experience

·        Working knowledge of accounting principles

·        Strong bias for action

·        Developed customer service approach

·        Highly developed ability to prioritize

·        Excellent time management

·        Excellent interpersonal communication

·        Planning, organizing and scheduling skills

·        Strong analytical skills, high level attention to detail and ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment

·        Works well on a team and individually

 

Nice to Have:

·        Experience using Yardi

·        Experience in similar industry

·        Proven ability to succeed in a high-volume & fast-paced environment

·        Willing to take on additional projects outside the scope of the role

·        Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ability to work with and analyze large datasets
