2026 Vice-Principal Assessment Centre:
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board invites applicants to express interest in pursuing school level leadership as a Vice-Principal. Selection for the position of Vice-Principal requires that all potential candidates participate in a recent (within 3 years) Vice-Principal Assessment Centre. Applicants interested in this initial stage are invited to submit applications as per below.

February 6, 2026, at 4pm
Salary Range:
The salary of a Vice Principal shall be determined in accordance with the PVP Terms and Conditions of Employment. Effective September 1, 2025 Vice Principal salaries will range from $129,649 to $140,482.00
Assessment Centre Process:
- Site visits for potential candidates will occur during the weeks of February 26th and March 6, 2026.
- Assessment Centre: Tuesday, March 10, 2026, in Napanee
- Individual Candidate Feedback Meetings will be scheduled in April and May of 2026.
- Certificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT)
- Principal's Qualifications Program Part 1 (completed by September 2026)
- Religious Education, Part 1 (completed by September 2026)
- Aspiring Catholic Leadership, Part 1 & Part 2
- Special Education, Part 1
- Religious Education, Part 2
An application package will include the following documents:
- Covering Letter
- Updated Resume
- Copy of current OCT Certificate of Qualifications
- A current (within 1 year) Roman Catholic Pastoral Reference Form
- A Professional Portfolio will be required for the Assessment Centre
