Description
Work in a secure correctional environment. Assist with the daily cleaning and stocking of supplies on a part time basis. Be part of a team that is passionate about healthcare. As a Service Worker I, you will be responsible for transporting patients (clients/residents) and equipment to and from different patient care areas within a hospital site. You will distribute and replenish hospital supplies throughout the units and clean equipment and patient care areas as directed. You may also transport lab specimens, blood and blood products, and patient charts. You will report any concerns regarding supplies and safety issues to Unit Managers and perform other duties as required.
Grade 12 or equivalent.
As required.
Previous experience working in a correctional environment. Familiar with infection prevention and control standards. Uphold and maintain requirements to meet Accreditation.
