Are you a high-performing financial professional motivated to influence the future of healthcare delivery in Alberta? Do you thrive in a complex, data-driven environment where your analysis directly informs multimillion-dollar funding decisions? We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Continuing Care Funding (CCF) team. In this role, you will contribute to the design and stewardship of funding models that enable high-quality continuing care services across the province. As part of the Strategic Finance and Health Economics portfolio, the CCF team leads funding methodology development, financial modelling, and advanced analytics to support evidence-based decision-making. This role provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, policy, and population health planning, helping shape how care is funded and delivered for Albertans. Key Responsibilities: Lead financial analysis and provide strategic advice to support provincial continuing care funding decisions. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, government partners, and service providers. Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership and executive audiences. Prepare high-quality briefing materials, reports, and presentations to support decision-making. Extract, validate, and analyze large financial and utilization datasets from multiple sources. Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to support forecasting, population health analysis, and patient acuity monitoring. Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative discipline. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modelling, large dataset manipulation). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working with complex datasets. Experience in financial analysis, economic evaluation, or data analytics. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a large, complex organization with multiple stakeholders.
