Description
The Manager, Ambulatory Surgical Services, Day Surgery and Short Stay Unit is a key leadership role in the patient care service and reports directly to the South Health Campus (SHC) Executive Director for Surgery, Women’s Health and Children’s Health.
This position is responsible and accountable for providing the direction, leadership and organization over the activities of patient care services and administrative operations in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. These activities also will include the integration of various resources to carry out these activities. The position is also responsible and accountable for making key decisions and having direct leadership responsibility for establishing and contributing to the achievement of the goals of the patient care service. The Manager, Ambulatory Surgical Services, Day Surgery and Short Stay Unit will develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders to provide leadership to the patient care service.
