IT Analyst I - Web Application Developer/Analyst

Reporting to the Manager, IT Web Presence & Collaboration Services, the IT Analyst 1 - Web Application Developer/Analyst will participate actively in the development and support of new and emerging web applications which will either standalone or integrate with other technical tools and systems. The successful candidate will be passionate about web-based application development and the support of Content Management Systems. Responsibilities Include: Working with business units in identifying and analyzing business needs across functions within AHS and developing web-based solutions to meet those requirements. Resolving minor to moderate issues experienced in either custom built solutions or off-the-shelf applications. Development and support of Enterprise Content Management System (MS SharePoint 2016/2019 and OpenText RedDot). ASP.NET Web Application Development using code C# and/or VB.NET, WebAPI. Client-side responsive web development using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Bootstrap. Participate in design and testing as needed.

As an IT Analyst I, you will provide technical support for system(s), subsystem(s) or technologies within a specialized team or service area in accordance with AHS standards and practices.

Completion of diploma in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.

2-3 years of web application development experience. Minimum of 2 year experience with enterprise class Content Management Systems such as Microsoft SharePoint 2016/2019. Strong understanding of current web trends and technologies. Good working knowledge of web front end design. Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.

Strong acumen for ASP.NET development. Must be able to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills. Work well in a team as well as individually. Intimate knowledge of the Application Development Life Cycle (ADLC). Familiar with ITIL incident and change management process in an enterprise environment.
