Instructor EDM - Senior Lead, Clinical Informatics & Business Support

Leads development and evaluation of clinical informatics standards and policies. Analyzes clinical performance data to support quality improvement. Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Provides expert consultation and supports partnerships. Identifies and supports staff education and training needs. Supports recruitment, orientation, and staff development. Integrates research evidence into clinical practice. Acts as mentor and promotes continuous learning. Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Active professional registration. 4-5 years clinical experience in Continuing Care or similar. Strong leadership and communication skills.

As an Instructor, you will be an expert practitioner and key educator. You will take a leadership role in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of education for nursing staff including orientation, compulsory and continuing education, and clinical development. You will collaborate with management and internal partners to promote standards of clinical, educational and evidence informed practice. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Completion of an accredited nursing education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

CPR certification. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical systems.

Experience with Connect Care clinical documentation systems and data analytics. Project management or leadership experience. Experience in education or mentoring.
