If you’re looking for a role where you can grow your skills in a supportive setting, come join our team in the friendly town of Edson. You’ll work with clients of all ages and gain hands‑on experience across the full scope of practice - everything from audiometry and immittance testing to auditory processing, otoacoustic emissions, vestibular assessments, tinnitus evaluations, and hearing aid selection and verification. As your interests evolve, you can also explore areas such as cochlear implant assessments, programming, and hearing‑conservation work. You’ll be backed by experienced mentors, professional practice leaders, and a province‑wide network of Audiologists who are committed to helping you build confidence and refine your clinical skills. With structured onboarding, ongoing training, and strong clinical resources, you’ll have the support you need from day one. In Edson’s close‑knit rural community, you’ll build meaningful relationships with clients, enjoy broad clinical variety, and have opportunities to contribute to education, outreach, and program development. It’s an excellent environment for new graduates, and for any Audiologist who wants a role where their work truly makes a difference.

As an Audiologist, you will be working both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team, where you will be responsible for the screening, identification, assessment and management of patients (clients) presenting with hearing and balance (vestibular) disorders. Your leadership and interpersonal skills will be important to you in supervising students and providing clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate. You will use your clinical expertise to inform program development and planning. You will interpret findings, provide counselling regarding hearing loss and balance dysfunction, and establish appropriate intervention plans to manage and reduce the functional impact of hearing loss. You will provide patients, their families and other professionals with information and recommendations; making referrals to other agencies and professionals as required.

Master's degree in Audiology. Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA).
